When the Internet became a tool for the masses in the mid-1990s, creating a website was a relatively simple concept: you threw some HTML into a text editor, added a few images (if you had the bandwidth), and dumped the package, naked and alone, onto the World Wide Web.
Things have certainly changed...
Today, interfacing with the Internet is more about experience and existence than it is a simple process of logging on. Gone are the days of webmasters; today, creating a presence on the web requires more than simple programming and networking knowledge. Today's developers must be not only tech-savvy, but must also have a strong knowledge of design, mathematics, layout, demographics, search engine optimization, marketing, commerce, and even finance.
This is the spirit out of which DesignOriginate was born.
